In the “Catorce” neighborhood we have set up a dental clinic. Various local dentists who saw the work that we were doing and wanted to be a part of it themselves offer their services free of charge to the poor people in the neighborhood. Children who otherwise would never go to the dentist except in an emergency get free cleanings, along with lessons on how to care for their teeth, in order to prevent losing their teeth later on. Adults who would otherwise put up with a dental problem until it becomes unbearable get timely treatment so they don’t have to suffer for a long time. All of this is done with a healthy dose of the wonderful love of Jesus, so that people will not only have healthy teeth, but will draw closer to God.
