In June, 2004, an internet/coffeehouse was opened and offers a daily venue for ministering to university students. They come to the Coffeehouse to study, use the internet and sometimes to just hang out; we provide coffee, tea, snacks, and a low cost copying service which is heavily used. Every Thursday night a Bible study is held, and a supper is provided for the students after the study. A special night of music and snacks is held about once a month; and other special events (e.g. new semester kick-off, Student’s Day, super bowl Sunday) are held periodically throughout the year. For these special events we might have live music provided by our music team and skits presented by the La Vina Zacatecas drama team; sandwiches, danishes, homemade cake, coffee and tea are served, and door prizes are sometimes handed out.
