Our twice weekly compassion trip to the city dump continues even though many of you are up North for the summer. Sol, who is a member of the Spanish church, the Dump Ministry leader and chef, along with her team continue to cook delicious sandwiches. Other volunteers then assemble the 300 sandwiches and fill 300 water bottles.
Recently the sandwiches and water were accompanied by a sweet treat, muffins! We received a donation of 200+ muffins to distribute on the compassion tour. Thanks to our generous sponsors we have been able to keep this going twice a week even through the summer when typically we have had to cut back to once a week.
