GET INVOLVED
You don't have to live in full time Mazatlan to get involved and make a difference in the lives of families here in Mexico. We are always looking for more volunteers! Our ministry depends on people just like you, so we would love to have you give us a hand and be a part of our growing community. Here are a few ways you can get involved...
JOIN A COMPASSION TOUR TO THE CITY DUMP
This is an experience that will forever change your life! Join us every Tuesday and Thursday as we prepare sandwiches and bottled water for the people who make their living from scavenging at the Mazatlan city dump. After the dump we will visit some of our Community feeding centers and tell you more about our ministry there. To join the compassion tour please RSVP on the events section of our homepage.
(For your safety please wear closed toe shoes and face mask).
JOIN A WEEKLY PROGRAM AT OUR CENTERS OF HOPE
Every week, volunteers from our English and Spanish churches prepare and distribute over 1000 meals to hungry children throughout our local Community Centers. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 our community centers remain closed awaiting the green light to re-open. We would love for you to join in sharing Gods love with the children once the community centers open up again. Please subscribe to our mailing list so you can be the first to know when the community centers open.
SPONSOR A COMPASSION TOUR TO THE CITY DUMP
Every Tuesday and Thursday we prepare 300 sandwiches and bottled water to pass out at the Mazatlan City dump. You can help sponsor a day at the dump by donating bread and sandwich supplies to feed the people who make their living from scavenging at the dump. Contact us to make your donation.
JOIN OUR SUNDAY CHURCH SERVICE
We'd like to welcome you to our English Church Service which takes place at 9am every Sunday in the Golden Zone of Mazatlán. Folks who attend our English worship come from many backgrounds such as Baptist, Presbyterian, Evangelical free, Lutheran, Pentecostals, Charismatic, Catholic, and Evangelicals in general. We are non-denominational in our preaching style and our worship is a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. We are a church with a strong vision for Mazatlán, which you will find out when you attend. You will be invited to go with us to the city dump or to sponsor a child in need, as well as other outreach opportunities. We are an informal church so there is no need to dress up. Just come worship with us, there is no need to RSVP in advance.
USE YOUR TALENTS FOR A GOOD CAUSE
If you have special skills, gifts, or talents, we'd love to hear about them and see if we can create a unique volunteer opportunity for you. Also, we are always looking for Electricians, handymans, painters, plumbers, so please reach out if you're willing to donate your time to us.
PLAN A MISSIONS TRIP!
A mission trip to the Vineyard Ministries in Mazatlan is a unique opportunity to serve God and take part in His work among the poor. There is a growing hunger for the truth of the Gospel and the gift of salvation among the people here. The physical and material needs of the poor in Mazatlan are tremendous. But God is bringing salvation, healing, and hope to this city and you can take part in that transformation as well, by starting a mission trip.
BECOME AN INTERN
Many people who attend a short term mission trip long for something more in depth. While a week can open eyes and hearts, spending more time on the field exposes people to missions behind the scenes. The internship program provides opportunity to experience life as a missionary and develop a greater understanding of and appreciation for living and working within a different culture. The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for longer term, although not permanent, missionary experience, ideal for anyone considering becoming a full time missionary.
For detailed information about the program please click on email us and we'll send you an application.
